Even More Photos From The Amazing Spider-Man !
Posted by: | CommentsFollowing all the photos from this morning , Entertainment Weekly has released another six images from Columbia Pictures’ The Amazing Spider-Man . With the trailer coming next week as well, it’s surprising the studio is releasing so much this early, considering the movie doesn’t hit theaters until July 3, 2012.
The Marc Webb-directed action adventure stars Andrew Garfield, Emma Stone, Rhys Ifans, Denis Leary, Campbell Scott, Irrfan Khan, Martin Sheen and Sally Field.

The film stars Asa Butterfield, Chloe Grace Moretz, Sacha Baron Cohen, Ben Kingsley, Jude Law, Ray Winstone, Christopher Lee, Helen McCrory, Richard Griffiths, Frances de la Tour, Emily Mortimer and Michael Stuhlbarg.

Hawke to Star in Derrickson Horror Film

Ethan Hawke ( Daybreakers ) has signed aboard the untitled film. Derrickson penned the script with C. Robert Cargill.
The plot is being kept under wraps, however, we do know shooting begins in September on a small budget.
Jason Blum ( Insidious ) is producing. Derrickson’s previous films include The Exorcism of Emily Rose and The Day the Earth Stood Still .

David Goyer to Write Godzilla Script
Posted by: | CommentsDeadline reports that David Goyer will write the screenplay for Legendary Pictures’ Godzilla from a draft by David Callaham. Goyer has worked on Christopher Nolan’s Batman trilogy and the upcoming Zack Snyder-directed Superman movie.
Toho’s “Godzilla” franchise boasts one of the most widely recognized film creatures worldwide, resulting in a series of books, television programs, video games and more than 25 films worldwide. Legendary Pictures intends to approach the film and its characters in the most authentic manner possible.
Gareth Edwards will direct the Warner Bros. Pictures release, to be produced by Thomas Tull and Jon Jashni.

Exclusive: Director David Yates on Harry Potter’s End
Posted by: | CommentsOn Friday, July 15, the ten-year film journey of the boy wizard known as Harry Potter will come to an end with Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2 . As much as the final movie has lots of great curtain calls and moments for all the characters we’re grown to know and love, more than anything, the movie is quite a crowning achievement for director David Yates, who came on board for the fifth movie Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix roughly seven years ago and just kept going, through the sixth movie, then finally tackling the impossible feat of shooting the two-part finale mostly at the same time. He has literally been working nearly non-stop since then, but if you read our review , you’ll know that we think he really outdid himself this time.

Vin Diesel to Star in and Produce New Action Thriller
Posted by: | CommentsVariety reports that Vin Diesel is attached to star in and produce an untitled action thriller written by Unknown screenwriters Oliver Butcher and Stephen Cornwell.
The trade says that Diesel’s One Race Productions is teaming with newly formed company the Ink Factory to produce the project. Diesel and his One Race partner Samantha Vincent will produce with the Ink Factory’s Simon Cornwell and Rhodri Thomas.
The project is based on a pitch from the writers though the storyline is being kept under wraps.
Diesel is currently developing with writer/director David Twohy a new Riddick movie, which is scheduled to start filming this September in Canada. He is also attached to topline and produce MGM’s The Machine .
Diesel is scheduled to return as Dom in Fast & Furious 6…
