Dexter Showcase Ad – Serial Killers in Adelaide

This rep Adelaide has was proliferated by one thing, and one thing only.. the Snowtown murders.

i think i read that Adelaide has the most serial killers per CAPITA, which means per person. so Sydney probably does have more serial killers than adelaide, but because their population is alot bigger than ours, we have more serial killers per capita.

and besides, im from Adelaide, i don’t find this ad offensive or anything. i found it to be hilarious infact. maybe you should lighten up a bit

in Adelaide’s defense, the guy responsible for the bodies in the barrels wasn’t from here. he moved here from NSW, or something.

Thats awsome, i live in Adeladie as well, i known that fact for some time and it is true, serial killers are not common and i can name three serial killing cases from SA fromt eh top of my head. Trurro murders, Snow Town, Von Eniem killings. its sad my city is tainted with scum, so if Dexter was real i welcome him to my fair city!

I love Adelaide, its such a cool place. I personally recon Melbourne has more crime. But yer i dont find this Ad offensive at all

So it should of been banned!, it needs to be pointed out that SA has one of the lowest murder rates and the fact that Adelaide is the serial killer capital is utter nonsense. You will find there are more serial killers, murders, crime etc in places like NT & Sydney. Adelaide is hell safe!

Im sorry but for people to think this is good exposure for SA must be on another planet. This add would of just continued the perception that Adelaide is a crime city,which is good for tourism or investment.

omfgggg I’ve never seen this before, this is amazing! This is probably the greatest thing to happen to our little town in just about ever.

im from adelaide and i thought this was wicked. its true that adelaide is the murder capital of the world. heaps of bizarre and fucked up serial killing have happened here. not even the writers of hollywood could write a fucked up horror movie that is worst and more fucked up than the weird and twisted serial killings that have heppened here in adelaide. on the other hand adelaide is a great place.

I thought it was a dumb move to ban it too.

They’ve run statistics in the past that have proven that stories like serial killers in Adelaide and crocodile attacks in the Northern Territory actually increase tourism. People who’ve had the destination in the back of their mind for ages see an international article about Australia and they book their holidays here.

It would work exactly the same for domestic tourism.

I don’t know about locals in Adelaide being offended, but the South Australian tourism commission was a bit miffed and they demanded the ad get pulled.
