In this society and country where ethnic minorities are less shown on tv in contrast to white people.. Don’t you get upset when your race is shown on tv, it shows them doing things that are perceived bad in society.
Its even worst when the majority white people make stereotypes against you, but it is not as bad as it used to be as white people can’t discriminate against us anymore in the workplace, so at least it doesn’t effect us making money, but it still effects us socially, and in preference as in these cases people in general often take stereotypes into account.
its obvious black, asian latino people do this as well… but it doesn’t effect the majority white race as it would the minority..
Even for example shows such as BET still largely enforce the stereotypes s of black people… It makes black people want to act that way because that what they will Think is being BLACK e.g. acting all gangsta, being in a gang..
This question also reflects my fellow gay people to because the get it the WORST!!
