Why is Joe the Plumber being slandered throughout the national media? ?
ByAlthough Joe refused to advocate a candidate, as soon as he went on record to make clear, he thinks Obama’s tax plan is pure socialism, he has been suddenly ridiculed up and down, made the butt of every (liberal) tv comic’s jokes & exposed as an unlicensed plumber, intended to discredit him.
The moment that he surprised Diane Sawyer, saying, he sees Obama’s taxation plan as punishment to those who achieve, he has been vilified throughout the liberal media. Is he being punished for not thinking as a liberal expects a plumber to think? Did they just assume anyone who is a plumber or does blue collar work, supports socialism?
Should Joe have said Chavez and Castro are freedom fighters or should he just gushed, Obama’s overwhelming oratory skills make him the best candidate for President ?
Is there any doubt that the media wants Obama to win and will destroy anyone who disagrees with their view?
Why is Joe Plumber slandered now and every news story, includes the comment, he is an unlicensed plumber?
Did moveontosocialism.org dig up dirt on Joe and send talking points throughout the liberal media, to discredit Joe?
I guess the big question, is why do we (the public) sit back and do nothing, allowing the media to influence and direct political action?

This is the power wielded by Obama the candidate for President.
What will happen if Obama becomes President?
And don’t forget Obama’s lawsuits against television stations and states who ran ads he disagreed with.
Or, how about the requested Special Prosecutor from the Justice Dept. to investigate the investigators of the voter fraud in 16 states by ACORN (who, by the way, received $800,000 from Obama’s campaign.)
Please, people, wake up!

McCain’s the one who brought him up, which I think is a really big mistake in a campaign as heated as this or any campaign for that matter. Of course the entire country is going to want to know about him and since when is it slander to tell the truth and why do you blame liberal media since all media is involved in talking about him. It feels like the conservatives can’t deal with truth if it is a problem for their candidate and that is a really bad thing when we are voting for the leader of the free world.

It’s really sad that someone who would speak his mind here in America would be attacked so badly, he’s not running for any political office, just stated his opinion and look how the liberal media responds. It doesn’t sound much like America does it. That’s what is going to happen if Obama is elected. We should all be scared here.

When you are thrown into the spotlight ugly things will come up about you. The media is going to want to see if you make 250,000 because that is your claim. If you say you are a plumber but do not have a license then the media will mention it. That is what the News does on both sides, it digs up dirt.

I guess Cons are so cool with lies it doesn’t matter when someone does it blatenly. Joe lied about being a plumber, about having his own buisness, about making 250K a year and he’s deliquent on his taxes. I’m not totally conviced he was planeted. That is all.

Because he LIED – he ISN’T a plumber AND he’s a plant for the McCain party – FUNNY how he came up to Obama and asked these questions about a business he could NEVER own the DAY Before the debate. And Funny how McCain did his best to keep mentioning Joe the Plumber…wouldn’t we ALL have benefited if McCain (& therefore Obama had to respond to McCain’s comments) HADN’T talked so much about Joe the Plumber. Other than he’s a lier and plant for McCain, who really CARES about Joe the Plumber ANYWAY? McCain SHOULDN’T have brought it up as much as he did. He’s just Desperate as his tactics of using Joe the fake Plumber as a plant the DAY Before the debate proves, added to his mentioning it at the debate a MILLION times.
Let’s just FORGET about it ALREADY…Oh, wait, YOU Can’t forget about Joe the Plumber! Just give it up already…you just can’t face the fact that McCain is going to lose and Obama is our next President!

If you took the time to listen or read the reports about this guy maybe you wouldn’t be so quick to write these arguments for him. This must be another of those “liberal media” bashing’s. You find something in the news you don’t like and it’s the liberal media at work. Now just the facts
1 Joe is not a licensed plumber
2. Joe, according to his boss, is not trying to buy the plumbing business
3. Joe’s income, after deductions, would only see an increase in taxes if it exceeded 250,000 dollars. And then it would only be on the amount that exceeded 250,000 dollars, Joe currently makes 42k a year and would be due a tax break under the Obama tax plan.
4.The company Joe works for would also see a tax break under Obama’s tax plan, Plus it would recieve a break if they offered him health insurance.
Before you blame the media, learn what you are talking about. Besides McCain is the one who took up Joe’s cause.
If your mind is made up, go vote for McCain, do it now, file early on an absentee ballot. You will feel better about yourself, although you may not feel as good if he wins.

Joe the Plumber is a dead man, he refused to kneel and kiss the ring of the arrogant media, who doesn’t believe that someone who is a plumber, has a right to refute socialism.
Every story now, cites his lack of a license, to make him look foolish. No doubt socialist agents, are looking for dirt in Joe’s past, to place the final nail in the coffin.
No wonder, many tv and movie stars, will never admit their disgust of socialism and the cretins who are forcing it upon society. If they did, their careers are over and they know it.

You know why no one steps in to defend Joe? Because they don’t want their underwear hung out for everyone to see either. This is why I don’t run for my local county board. I’ve done things when I was young that I’m not proud of. And I know that it would be dragged out in the public spotlight, even though I’ve walked the straight & narrow for over 30 years now. I know I could do a good job serving my community, but I don’t want my past to be an issue. Especially when it’s not. I totally understand why many people don’t come forward, or don’t run for office. Look what the media does to them. Tearing them to shreds…finding people from their past that know intimate details of a former life… poking around until they find someone who had an axe to grind way back “in the day” who still hasn’t gotten over it. Mr. Obama is finding out, first hand, what it feels like to have everyone he’s ever talked to scrutinized and criticized. And he has to answer for each one. Being a presidential candidate is a lot more important that running for a county board seat, but both have to open their lives up for everyone to see. Hiding things is never good, so I don’t understand why the candidates don’t just spill it all right from the start, so that they can get on with the business of what they’re going to do, and how much is it gonna cost us. So, as for Joe, he took a big chance coming forward like he did. The media will not ignore a new voice. They will find someone who knows even the smallest tidbit, and report on it like it’s the discovery of Jimmy Hoffa’s bones. Now Joe’s gonna be accused of being a plant for Mr. McCain, or Mrs. Palin’s secret boyfriend. It’s my understanding that Joe was THINKING about starting his own plumbing business, and was concerned how Mr. Obama’s tax plans would affect his future business plans. He never said he was a licensed plumber. At least, that’s what I keep hearing on all the playbacks. The moral of this story kiddies…if you wanna run for a public office, make sure you either don’t have skeletons in your closet, or you’re willing to let them out all at once so that there’s nothing left to find. Keep it squeaky clean kiddo’s. The end. Oh and thanks Jack for the opportunity to vent.
